What can I use as proof of income if tax returns are not required in my country?
As per the bank's guidelines, they require all applicants to provide an income tax return, but if you are from a tax-free country, you must provide an employer/client declaration letter instead. It must include the following:
- Written on company letterhead
- Dated and issued within the last 3 months
- Your full name as seen on your passport
- Job title (Position held at the company)
- Start date at the company
- Current monthly salary (must include currency)
- Annual earnings from the last year (must include currency)
- Duly stamped and signed by the employer/client, mentioning the capacity of the person signing it (manager, director, human resources, etc.)
Please note that the bank may request additional supporting documents during the review process, as they handle accounts on a case-by-case basis.
