What can I use as proof of payment from clients?

If you are self-employed or a freelancer, the bank requires documentation to verify your services. This includes proof of payment from your clients for the services you provided.


You must provide one of the following documents:

  • Bank statements showing payments received
  • Document showing that payment has been made

Document requirements

  • The first name and last name on the document must match the name on your passport.
  • Must show that the payment made is for your self-employed business or freelancing services.
  • Must be issued within the past 3 months.
  • Must indicate the amount of income you receive monthly or on average. The monthly income must be at least €2,500 EUR.
  • Only PDF documents are accepted. Screenshots of statements are not allowed.
