Can I request a Portuguese birth certificate that was issued over 100 years ago?

While the Portuguese civil registry office says that they can only access birth certificates that were issued up to 100 years ago, we can submit a request on your behalf. In these cases, we may need to ask for additional documentation (e.g. a Portugal citizen card or passport) in order to make the request. If the Portuguese birth certificate cannot be found, we are happy to offer you a full refund.
